About 700 miles with it in, I've checked it a few times and it's always in the same place. I reused the screws that screw the bezel into the stock grill I forgot to mention that.

this is from a couple weekends ago, not today, but its been too rainy or busy for photography.

    - replaced the chrome grille and bezel on my TRD OR with
+ a Rad Grille with an SR black bezel

thinking about listing the chrome grille and bezel on here. cleaned it all up.

next up, i think i want to replace the wheels with Konig Countersteer Type X 16x8. though like the chrome grille, these erector set style wheels are slightly growing on me. who am i kidding. i will change them. i just need to hear back from FN and figure out more about the whole TPMS thing.

You can get the front rail for a second gen taco on Amazon and several other sites for around $45.

Today, I shimmed my seat mounts up about 5/8", and removed my TRD stickers. Looks SO much better! May pull off the black B pillar trim next, then paint the grill black. I'm not crazy about the OR wheels, but a little trail dust is a lot cheaper than new rims. This thing is so much blingier than my '97 T100 with steelies that I'm still adjusting to it.

I don't blame you. When mine wear out I will probably upgrade them so I won't have to deal with the same thing again. That is nuts how flat they are!!

Yeah, they still shouldn't wear out in 8000 miles.

Man that's a bummer to see. I don't suppose an AAL will fix that at all?

For your 70mph vibration, I've had the same thing, and was thinking it might be an unbalanced tire if you haven't checked yours. Just a long shot though...

haha, or I could just a parking lot swap. With the number of the trucks i see on the road here not being actually used for trucks more grocery getters, I could easily swap it out and leave an IOU and they probably wouldn't even notice. I'll go find junkyard and get one for cheap if it comes down to it. Why do we in Canada get screwed. I can understand the price difference for shipping/exchange, but jesus, 4 times as much, that is pure greed.

Can you post a picture of the back of your grill to show exactly how you did it?

They are P265/65R17 Nitto Terra Grappler G2. Factory ride height, and I love it! Definitely sits higher than my 07 did before it was lifted. No need for a lift on this one.

I didn't build it hoping for your approval, I built it because it meets mine!
Honestly, I wouldn't bother with the new leaf pack and an AAL. I noticed my 4400 mile old oem leafs with AAL were basically inverted today with a half tank of gas and five wheels/tires in the bed.
Even on Costco trips with the bed loaded with a few cases of water and stuffs the rear suspension is sagging pretty badly.
Once I add a bed rack and RTT I'm sure I'm going to have to go to the OME leaf pack to compensate. I would imagine a weekends worth of camping gear for two people, food, cooler, supplies, fire wood, and a rack and RTT would be way way too much for the factory leafs and AAL to handle
