I am looking at this thing! Hope to have it in December...in time to drive to Central America with it!! I think I will add airbags to my 2012 DCLB TRD for it.

Funny thing is, we actually looked at the Minnie Winnebago first. We decided this though for ease of towing through the mountains and the cross winds. It does tow great. Light and easy. Don't know it's there until you come upon a hill. Then you can tell something extra is back there. I'm still working on the best way to lay everything out for even weight. Actually taking it through the mountains for the first time this weekend.

I've seen some pretty big campers being pulled by Tacoma's but I'm on the opposite end of that spectrum.

Just picked up this couple of weeks ago. 21 ft about 4k dry weight I towed it a couple of times and it did surprisingly well. Equalizer WD hitch and brake controller installed with it.

2010 Starcraft 176 RB, ~3500 lbs GVWR, about 20 ft long form hitch to bumper. I use a Prodigy P3 Brake controller and a Equalizer brand WDH. Have towed it up 6-8% grades numerous times living in the Rocky Mountains. The truck handles it, but you can tell it is back there. I only get about 10 mpg when I am towing it.

I have a 2013 Taco, V6, Auto and I pull a 22' Airstream. I live in Az in the winter and Crested Butte Co in the summer (elevation 9700'). Pulls a bit slow on steep mountains however the speed limit is usually 35 in the winding mountains anyway. I have an equalizer hitch and the trailer grosses at 5500 lbs. I have the tow package and scangage to monitor trans temps (very important) and I installed a second trans cooler. On the highway I run in 4th at 60 to 65mph. Hope this helps. Terry
