This threads my new favorite, nothing like people arguing over who cut the biggest check for a shop to build their shit!

Hah. I think someone had a talking to from a Mod and changed their attitude for fear of the ban hammer. Anyways thanks @PSU Taco85 for being knowledgable and answering my question.

Glad to help whenever I can, sometimes just baffles on the response of others. Makes me hesitant to even post my "opinion" without getting hassled. But bottom line is I know how the parts are designed so I don't care who says what I know how the equipment is designed whether or not I paid my grandkids to install the parts or not LOL

Elegant dig... I can take it.

Post up some builds so I we can check them. I am willing to learn & share all experiences.

After all, this forum is to help others with issues, which we all run into, I know Slander & I have had our share.
If one easy post can minimize the issues we go through to keep our trucks 'Toyota', post up... getting a thrashing or not, post up.

Thanks for the comments/ replies guys, a manly thread this is.

Reading this thread was like watching a car crash, it hurt to look but I just couldn't turn away....

This was the most TW thread I've ever read. Starts with a stupid question being asked and then followed by a big dick contest between two people that diverted from anything related the OP. Then to top it off, the contest was between a guy that (right or wrong) paid a shop to swap his truck and another guy that is so hardcore that he lists blacked out badges as a mod in his build thread.

PSU... I owe you an apology. When I saw the stock truck, I didn't see the 2010. I aplolgize, to the OP too. I didn't intend to jack his thread, just wanted more info so I could assist.

    OP, was your question answered?

The 2010 is friggin' awesome. I know from experience that a lot of labor & love went into it... not suckin' ass, just being real.

If you're up to answering a question:
How do you like the Dakar leafs? If they started out with 3"'s of lift, how much did they settle.

    Respect.

And then there's the meat lickers like you that post just to type shit and have absolutely nothing to add to the thread. Thanks for stopping by my build, the blacked out badges are really something let me tell ya.

No worries, the dakars have held up great had them for almost 5 years now. They are flat at ride height but still hold a decent amount of weight. I did put the AAL on and that keeps me right at 3" of lift in the back, and with the shackle flip that adds another 1.5" of lift.

^ Cool, I'll ask other questions on your build thread now that I know where it is.

    Thanks for the reply.

Man this site really does suck, there is a reason I rarely ever go outside of the NorCal thread.

Please enlighten me how my question was stupid?

I fail to see how having someone build your truck is a bad thing. Some people may not be skilled in fabrication or have the equipment required do the job but can afford to have some one that is do it. No brainier. A lot more people on this site should follow. I have seen some serious hack jobs on shit because the "built not bought" philosophy.
And God forbid someone ask a question! I mean c'mon!

    Thanks Peter.

If the price tag of my build offends people to the point they have to make fun of it all it says to me is they are jealous because they cannot afford.

I'm not ashamed that someone with a shit fuck ton of knowledge is building my truck, I'm stoked because it's going to work great.

I am also grateful as fuck that business is good enough that I can afford to have my dream truck built this way.

Did you get it figured out? Triple sticks can be a bit confusing. Took me a few trips to get it down pat
