I've got a diff drop on mine...I'm pretty much maxed out on lift too.

 

Hey folks! Figured I'd come over hear and introduce myself. ( I feel like I'm in an A.A. Meeting) Names Anthony, I've been a long time lurker of this forum, yet I've only posted a couple times. I bought my first Tacoma 2.5 years ago it was a 2015 acess cab SR5, loved the truck but every time I saw a DCSB drive by I had to hide my lady boner. About a month ago I traded that Tacoma in for a 2014 DCSB prerunner, same color and everything. Since then I've already had an exhaust put on and I installed a blistein 5100/ 885 lift. Now I'm madly in love with my truck.
A little about myself, I've been in the Airforce for just under 11 years now. I'm a C-17 Loadmaster. (Soooo the big gray jets that are buzzing the I-26/ Orangeburg area) that's me!

 

Diff twist, seriously haven't heard anything good come from them on 2nd gens.

I put it one with the spacer lift to clear the tires while waiting for the ICON's...never took it off when I swapped.

On second gens the diff drop just lowers the rear, twisting the diff, It's just an odd design. One of my friends caught his lowered diff arms on a rock and buggered his truck. If it works for you I guess leave it, but I bet if you through an angle finder on your shafts you wouldn't see much of a difference.

 

Man that's a great looking taco! I actually didn't know you could install a spindle kit with 5100's

 

I was hoping for granny hangers
