Yeah I'm not a fan of the 48hrs either just saying that if it's going to rain then do it instead of rain for 5 min stop 20 min later start again kind of stuff.

 

oh ha. Yea that's kinda true. 3-4 rains storms a day can be annoying. But it's kinda cool too.

 

I miss the smell of it haha. I'm going to be going back home to Florida in May one last time to teach sailing lessons and everyday around 1-1:30 a thunder storm pops up for about an hour.

 

I definitely miss that Florida rain and thunderstorms

 

sounds like an adventure. can't be worse then it was in canada haha should be fun.

 

I recall that was a relatively warm rain. Certainly not in the 40s.

 

I wouldn't call it warm. I had two coats on. We where pretty huddled around the fire(s).

Sup[posed to get a snow storm tomorrow I guess. Just in time to drive back to CO...damn.

Test drove a new wrx and new(slightly used) tundra the other day.

WRX is different then the older styles. New tundra rides really nice. After talking to them I would have to pretty much order mine because they only get flex fuel models.

 

are there any trips going on anytime soon? or trails?

Some of our friends are on a trip right now. None for the wyo guys though

 

Looks like Mr Tim is just heading east on I-15 out of Barstow.

 

So might be able to get another tacoma this summer/fall. While I was at the dealership yesterday I met a guy with a 1st gen, 01-04 not sure. Anyways he was checking out the 4runner, and looking at new 3rd gens so I asked if he was gonna sell his 1st gen. Long story short, he said ya and was telling me about it. 5 speed, v6, trd, silver extended cab, 112K miles, and said he'd probably sell it to me for 8K. So I gave him my number to call me. He sent me pics today and said if I wanted it for 8K or if I want to make an offer its mine when he pulls the trigger on a 3rd gen.

So guess I might have to pick it up lol if things work out.
