does anyone else's truck squeak when your simply getting in and out of it?

I have been noticing the truck has an obvious squeak anytime i am doing so. I am only 5' 10'' 185lbs, I have never noticed any other vehicle of mine doing this.

Mine squeaks like a bed at the bunny ranch. The rear fender wells rattle like hell too.

Where is your squeak coming from? I had a squeak that was coming from the leafs. It is a pretty common problem as I discovered on here and learned how to fix it.

I've got a squeak now in my front end that I'm trying to find the cause of. I think it's is my control arms...

Try hosing them down with Fluid Film... just don't do it in the driveway, garage or on a windy day. That overspray gets everywhere and leaves grease film on all of your windows, etc.

Get a pry bar and stick it between 2 of the longer leafs. They have rub pads between them and they get worn down. You need to stick some new rubber in them. Some people use a bicycle tire tube and cut it up. I had a elastic workout band lying around so I cut it up and folded it up a bit and slid it in there and the squeak was magically gone. You will need to do it on both sides of the leafs. (4 total pads)

FluidFilm is lanolin based. Kind of a temporary thick coating helps provide a protective layer but also acts as a lubricant. Guys back east use it to help keep the salt and snow/frozen slush from building up on the underside of the truck. I've used it during the wetter months to help keep the AZ clay/mud from caking and adhering to inside the wheel wells, mud flaps, etc. That mud once dry takes a long time to spray off even with a power washer.
