It's probably in here too, but if you shift into S mode while on cruise control, it kicks it out, but tap "Resume" and it will cruise again.

more of a general tip, but Android users can download an app called Google Opinion Rewards wherein you answer short, 10 second surveys and get Google Play credit. i was able to get that Carista app for free that way. i think you can accumulate ~50$ a year. useful when you don't buy apps all that often but every now and then there's something you HAVE to have.

I started Google Opinion Rewards about 2.5 years ago, and so far they have given me 90 bucks in google play credit. Not bad!

I turn off the back up alarm if the tailgate is down while carrying a long load. Otherwise it goes off each time I'm in reverse regardless if there is a hazard. All it "sees" is the ground!

How do you change the direction of the navigation screen? Everytime I use it I'm looking at the navi going backwards not the same direction I'm driving

Just hit the navigation icon on the screen.(the letter N,S,E,W at top). it will toggle thru the directional views.

Do you need to know, or care?
I must admit I skimmed through the manual, but I just learn by trial and error...and of course asking here. Haven't touched the manual on the radio/nav yet, don't have the patience, but my Gen 2 Nav is very similar to the Gen 3, so keep checking options until I figure it out on my own.

Or I'll just ask you Cuffs, you seem to have the answers for us illiterates. :D
