I'd totally SAS my truck and DD it. Just do it right the first time and link it front and rear

true, but it's just not necessary for me. I'd rather go mod crazy with big mods when I have a different car to DD so I can take my time with the truck

I have the mentality of a mall crawler and heart of a rock crawler. Truck has to look killer, but then it also has to go anywhere I point it

So I'm confused. Is the soft top related to that image or no? Otherwise, I have no idea what's going on. For all I know it could be a crawler box...

Yes, haha it's a picture through the rear window of the softtopper. I guess the surprise is ruined now

No wonder the image looks so weird. I saw you post about that in Fernando's build so I was on to it at first.

What color is it? (not sure if they come in more colors, not familiar with soft tops)

Why don't you sell the soft topper and the hard shell and make a bed rack and get a Tepui/CVT RTT?

I really thought about that, but I don't want a bed rack on my bed because then the bed is pretty much useless. I don't go camping nearly enough to justify a RTT, and I won't be able to afford one for several years anyway. I figured that if the time comes and I really want an RTT, I'll get fancy and reinforce my roof and get a Prinsu for it. That's not the most economical decision, but I can't not have a usable truck bed while I'm away at college. That's why I'm getting the softtopper in the first place. I'm tired of playing Tetris with my trail bike to transport it. Also, I am going to try to use the leftover money from selling the hard shell to fund new brakes :spy:

Nice! I do like the Apex bumper, but I'm glad I did my own thing.

Hah whoops I meant to add I dig the trail gear front bumper that you did, allpro has a nice tube bumper somewhat like it but I'd want the fill plates too. Either way, nice truck! Wish mine was 4x4

Congrads on the softopper! You will love it. I like mine (as you know). It's so awesome to be able to take it on or off in 5 mins by myself. My wife would get lots of comments about it when it was her DD.
