Maybe you should ask Leo what kind of Predator step bars he has.

Let me make this simple. I asked about an issue with the suspension in my new Tacoma. Somewhere along the way someone asked if I was sure the step bars on my truck were actually Predator because they didn't look like it. My response "I'm pretty sure they are" to which they replied they appeared to be 2nd gen and not 3rd. At this point, I reported one of the posts because I didn't want the thread to be hijacked away from it's original intent, which was finding out the issue is with my fucking suspension. MTGirl, in a professional manner, deleted a couple of the person's posts and started a private conversation saying she was subbed to the thread and would delete any further posts from this poster that did not have to do with the suspension issues. Why the moderator above decided to become involved and publicly question my reporting posts is beyond me when another was moderator was subbed to the thread and handling the issue. Also not sure why he wouldn't just send me a private conversation rather than make a public comment about me reporting a post anyway. But what I was afraid would happen has now happened and now this thread has devolved into nothing but a back and forth pissing contest that's not doing shit for my squeaking suspension.

OP: judging by your angry pm, it's been decided you need to take a step back from the forum.

What do you want us to do about it? You have a brand new truck with a warranty, Even if we told you the solution would you pay out of pocket to fix it? Take it back to the dealer..

Just for the record. All these posts were made before I mentioned the Predator steps. I just don't think that was the answer he wanted to hear.

    OP,

up until today I have been dealing with the exact some noise & problem on my 16

Took it to my dealer twice they said cant find anything/nothing we can do.

Finally took it to a different dealer, my right front bushing was cracked & causing a part to rub against the frame causing the noise, metal on metal rubbing.

They replaced the bushing & so far so good.

My truck with 2800 miles just started creaking around the passenger front suspension today. I hear it when I get in and out and when I drove slow over different grades. If I stand on the step and rock the truck it creaks with every movement. Is this similar to yours. It really sounds like crap. I cannot tell if it is the spring, shock mount or the control arm bushing. It has a dry control arm bushing squeak sound. Do you know the exact location of the part they replaced. I may take some hose and try to pinpoint it myself but would be better to know exactly where yours was located.
