    Prerunners came with the TRD package in the first and second gens, 3rd gens just did away with the "Prerunner" name. You can still get a 2wd with the TRD OR package in 2016 model, sounds like this guy wanted the Prerunner badge since Toyota discontinued it this year.

    Someone in my neighborhood (Tujunga) just down the street from me has a sweet looking late model first gen, TRD 4x4....white, xtracab, lifted with a matching camper and ARB bumper and mounted winch...I'll try to grab a pic later today.
