It's called foster failure when you take in a dog that's only suppose to be temporary, but you fall so hard that you can't imagine your life and your home without them. My misses and I have added more than a couple of pups to our family this way. Good things follow where failure and happiness intersect. Not succeeding at something willnever feel so good!!

What kind of clasp is that? Is that from a leash or a seatbelt restraint system?

I just watched a video on it...I really like that you need to depress both at a time in order to get it to unhook. My houndini has unclipped himself a few times when he had his harness on and was rolling around. Might have to pick one up if I can find out where to buy them at.

This is mine. Adopted him from the local SPCA about 2ish years ago and he has been with me ever since. He is a mix of Pit and Terrier and can be a little shit sometimes. I am needing to get him trained as he freaks the hell out when I come home as I put him in a kennel during the day. But he has his on spot on the couch and on my bed, is a great guard dog for the house, and loves tennis balls like none other.
Since getting him, I have fostered about 4 dogs from SPCA since getting him and just can't do it anymore as I recently bought a new house and don't want to deal with the house breaking.

    SPCA Adoption Pic

About a year ago, he has not grown much since then, just gotten more muscular and a little taller. Don't have a recent pic but will try to get one.

She cannot unclip herself no matter how hard she tries, and she has tried. it is awesome and like I said earlier, totally overkill.

That is part of their series but it will be a pain to tie into a dog leash, this is the same one that I have and you can see the ring in the body will be allot more agreeable to retrofitting an existing leash, or for making a new one.

I can see how the one you have would work a lot better. I just did a quick search on Amazon and found that. I might have to get one of those for my lab.

I use a kurgo swivel tether for his seatbelt in the car, I could get a Grivel swivel biner that's exactly like what the Kurgo uses, but I think I like the simplicity of the frog better for a leash.

Nice, my son is six now and so he's outgrown his last car seat and is now in a booster. I plan to take the LATCH tethers from the old car seat and make a restraint for the dog that uses the LATCH points and gives her a little wiggle room but will keep her secure. She doesn't climb around in the car much but I'd hate to get hit in the head with a hundred pounds of GSD if things went pear shaped.

I loop that tether through itself to the LATCH point. It's juuuuust long enough that my dog can lay down and can get his front paws on the center console, but he can't come up enough to get in my way when I'm trying to shift...which he used to do regularly haha.

Here is mine, I just tell people she is black and red shepherd. Most people don't know what you're saying to them if you say beauceron. She is almost 4 months old now.
