Well it's too hard to 2 thumb text when you're drinking and driving too, so grabbing the manual should've been easier!

Installed VLED Amber/Amber switchback LEDs. Little tricky since the Gen 3's do not have a DRL wire located at the turn signal socket(like the previous Taco's)
I feel complete now with my Amber running lights. These things are BRIGHT:bananadead:

So, to sum things up: Putting on make-up, drinking while driving, texting and posting while driving and taking pictures while driving.

I'm very happy to be at home and inside right now!

Busy week - BPF recovery point, Opt-7 LEDs in highs and lows, Morimoto fogs, LED interior, license & reverse lights, Toytec BOSS 2.0 kit with Wheelers progressive AAL, bed mat, cargo divider, front bed rail. Just hit 500mi today.

Still needs skids, sliders and a light bar.

Any opinions on the n-fab sliders with the removable steps? My 5'3" girlfriend was already giving me looks of disapproval getting in before the lift.

Looking nice! I just received my pod lights and the same switch. Just waiting on my ditch light brackets and relay holder from Cailraisedled. I was wondering who was you removed the cover for the switch and how it fits in that open slot. Lastly, how did you wire them up? Thanks for the posting!

So if you have the same switch and you want to use the same location, you're going to need a dremel. I used a cut off wheel to get the big shit out of the way then used the sander to smooth out. If you have jewelers/pocket knife/razor blade you can just pop out the panel. There's 2 tabs on top and 2 on the bottom. Blank switch plate pops out.

Is it small enough to fit in the truck bed storage area?

Pulls great for the size truck it is. It is not as strong as the Cummins it replaced but actually pulls it better than the 06 Chevy 1/2 ton (5.3/auto) I used to have. The steepest grade in the area is just down the road from my house. The Tacoma handled it very well at 65mph in 5th with the cruise set. Lost about 2 mph on the longer side of the hill and about 3-4 on the steep side on the way back. "Tehuacana Hill" on TX HWY 171 is the what I am referring to. Not a mountain pass but a fair test of the truck for where I'll be going. You can really feel the VVTI on the engine when it gets under load almost feels like an auto when the lockup converter unlocks.

Brake controller is this one. Works well mounted it on its side to the kick panel on the drivers side. Single bolt mount by the way if mounted like that. It has a hole through the center of it for a swivel mount I just didn't use the mount.

Nice! I have the same truck, same color, same suspension setup going on tomorrow. Are those 275 or 285's?

Mind me asking how much the contractors cap set you back? Or was it a company purchase? Brand?
They don't look as good but they are a lot more functional to me.
