    The "DoD" was always slingin' rocks after spendin' time offroad, keeps numbnuts from tailgatin' yah on the highway though.

    @gray223

    DoD = Dirty ol Dodge
    Yes, some rocks got flung out of the tread at highway speeds some stayed. I just dug em out, never really noticed an issue with "drilling"
    I ran the Maxxes for 35-40k miles, they still had about 3/8" of tread when I traded it for the Taco.

    I have a rock driveway of small white stones. I get some stuck in there but wouldn't say a lot, I hand pick a few out when I see them but most get ejected while driving.

    These Tars sposed to have rock ejectors. Some rocks do stay but the rock ejectors keep them from drilling into the tire

    No worries Dustin. :cheers: I actually don't think the STT has it's own thread. Cooper stopped making them and are now marketing the STT Pro as their "ultimate mud terrain". So any that you find out there right now are all new-old-stock. I'm selling my used ones as they have a little life left for anyone that wants spares or cheap tires, but new ones are getting harder to find. Great tires, I got a lot of use out of them, but I was getting tired of the mud terrain noise.

    After a LONG deliberation deciding between KO2s, Duratracs and Maxx's, I've chosen the Maxx's!

    Now time to save up some funds and get them.... and to decide between 285/75/16 or the 255/85/16!!

    Got these meats today 315/75R16. They are so much quiter than my MTR's, at least for now. They ride very smooth. Will report back after some dirt and rock testing.
