Everything LEGO thread!

I've been on this Star Wars Lego kick lately. I'm trying to get some of them before the prices go through the roof.

 

Why would they go "through the roof"? They're already pricey. The collectors are selling at outrageous prices... and getting it!

 

Because they'll eventually get retired...and when the masses catch wind of that the prices will sky rocket.

 

I'll be a nerd and post up the little off road vehicle I made outta my son's spare parts...

I've been looking at this for a while. If they would've had it at the Lego store, I would have brought it home. Instead I got Ewoks.

 

I was just lookin at the sandcrawler on AMAZON. So badass. I like the EWOK village best.

 

Currently building the new sandcrawler but I've been at it for a few weeks because I haven't had much time

 

Ya the place I go to is a local toy store but they specialize in legos....they had the ewok village, the death star, slave 1 ucs, bwing ucs, and the Darth maul ucs which was big money.... they have a crapload of retired sets. I told the guy he needs to close up shop because he's gonna make my wife murder me in my sleep....o ya he also sells over 100 different mini-figs...he's into it deep.

 

That's sweet, I really only care about the bigger sets, especially the UCS ones, but man are they expensive, and even more so when they're retired

I'm wanting the Ewok Village next and then the UCS Tie Fighter

 

Love the UCS sets but I got into the Creator modular buildings when I started this thread.
They're the kind I always wanted as a kid. (Besides the space sets)

 

So.. I bought a couple more Star Wars Legos. It's a sickness.
