    The real answer......possibly. Deipends on how allergic. Some break out or have issues from just touching others has to go into a membrane or be ingested. The urethra is a mucous membrane so you get a little peanut in there sure.

    Yah I had my gall bladder removed like 2 years ago and they did not bother to tell me I had a catheter in when I was under, needless to say that first piss was horrible pain, add that to the gas they pump into you rising up to your shoulders when you stand, I felt like I could die hah.

    Yeah the peeing from a catheter is horrible. Hurts so badly. There really isn't any reason with gallbladder removal why you need one. I'm very anti catheter with my patients.

    As for the gas. It doesn't actually rise up there the CO2 is just irritating to the nerves and we feel that.
