I was looking into it today at work. It's not the issue of building one. It's the issue if building a low profile one and making base that I can quickly mount the slider on and take it off. I was thinking about using insert nuts into the fiberglass bed. Then I can just thread it off and on without having a second pair of hands or having to crawl under the truck. But I'll worry about that later. I'm finishing my on board water plumbing system and rear distribution panel with switches.

I went with the ATO dual battery setup. The battery tray is on its way. I hope I made a good decision by going with optimas. I had a red top fail on me years ago but you just can't find odyssey batteries locally. In case mine shits out I can't replace them from say an autozone. With optimas now a lot of places carry them. I plan on running 2 yellow tops

Your absolutely correct on the Odysseys. Hard to get and no local sellers stock in my area. I get the feeling that Optimas have improved as of late.

I honestly hope so, because at 250 a pop it's an expensive risk.

When ever you decide to start cutting let me know. I need to do mine before I fill up my wheel well with new tires. With the extra lift I got from the new coils and the shackle flip, 295's here I come. 265's look lame now.

I abused my yellow top with my M8000 in my Wrangler for 5 years and it kept coming back for more. I swapped it into multiple Toyota trucks afterward and it is still in one that I sold to a friend. It must be 10 years old now. Solid battery, or was 10 years ago.

I honestly need to mine as well since new tires are getting put on in fall, but I'm being so.lazy recently. I'm seriously considering running skinnies so I don't have to mess with them.

Demand pics of water system! Or I can come to your shop and inspect. Want to do this as soon as I get my OBA installed.

I'll make you a deal. When I decide to chop mine I'll let you know. Bring up some gin and tonics and some chips and we can bust out the sawzal.

I'm trying to find a good tall/skinny combo for 17" rim. I'd switch to 16" but would need new wheels, and that would probably add another $800ish to my total.

Net. Nearly 33's, and getting rub at full flex. Not much, but after these are worn and I sell them to you, it's 35's and a re gear. ( fuck you Brian, shut up!)
