Ok, so I just purchased a new lift kit. About time I got rid of this damn spacer kit. Anyway, I'd like to know how this kit will ride. 5100s with eibach/toytec coils set on second c clip from bottom at .85".....also added the .5" top plate spacers to get a full 3" of lift for my double cab. Rear will be a 2" AAL from toytec.

    620#.
    Nice set up.
From what I hear people like their Bilstein shocks. I think you will feel a big improvement from what you had.
Will be following to hear what you think.
You have a stock suspension in there now?

Right now I have a 2.5-3" leveling kit. Strut spacers in the front and a 1.5" AAL in the rear. I should have did the research and just went with the 5100s from the start. I knew someone with a spacer kit and just decided to do what they did. Did some research afterwards and hear everyone saying spacers may cause suspension damage and bottoming out the shock n all. All the money I could have saved....

    Yeah, coulda shoulda.
I am researching to upgrade mine right now. And I think I have scratched the surface trying to figure out what the hell I want to go with.
    Lots of options.
I have heard "buy once, cry once" as the motto for suspension upgrades.
Good luck with the install. Be sure to post up pics - progress pics for even more points.

Right now it is all stock but am 99% sure I will be going with Bilstein 6112/B110 with a Dakar leaf pack.

There's a ton of bad info floating about regarding top plate spacers. The likelihood of shock damage is minimal unless you're pounding the suspension.....ie, jumping dunes, etc....They aren't "the best way" to raise a truck, but they aren't nearly as awful as some would lead you to believe. Yes, with a 2-1/2" lift from a spacer, your shock will run out of travel before the suspension bottoms.....Yes, a spacer under the bump stop will remedy that situation. Yes, proper shocks/coils are better.....But budget constraints can dictate just how much "better" some people can afford. Spacers get a lot of blame for rough ride.....when the fact is, often times the stock shocks are starting to wear out. Stock coils aren't exactly the best source of a great ride either.

I have this exact setup and i love it. It's a little rough because my tires are so heavy but overall I'm very happy with it. need to get upper control arms soon to get the alignment perfect.

I have eibachs and bilsteins. Rides great. But the 5100's are set at 0 and I have 1/4 inch spacer for the driver side lean. I also love the fact that they're silver
