I thought I was the only person who hated KO2s. I think they are fine tires. My buddy and I were in the mud and my AT II's were sliding everywhere and he was fine, but I think they are ugly.

BFG has never let me down. Had KM's and never got stuck and climbed everything I threw at them. Had summer tires on my 350Z and gripped like no tomorrow. We will see how the KO2's do off-road but on road I'm impressed.

I haven't had to either. I've only had them since January, so they're relatively new.

Admittedly it could have been because they were worn. Can't knock them too much because they came on 4Runner when I got them. Man I want to hit the the trails now.

It so funny how many people won't buy a product that is ugly even though it performs well off-road. I would rather have something that performs then looks cool. To each their own and that's why there are so many choices out there.

I'm gonna downsize next time I get tires to 285/70/17. I think I'm gonna go with Toyo AT IIs. I have Toyo Mts right now and I love the traction, but I drive this thing to work and such. The mud tire whine gets kind of annoying. Plus they are heavy as hell. And I have to fit in parking structures. :(

I agree with this honestly. I like KO2s as well, they'd be my second option.

I like the Triangle. Looks good man.
I go for the performance, but in my opinion, there isn't enough of a performance difference between my AT II's I had and my buddy's KO2s unless we were in a mudslide.

i ran BFG KM2s on my old truck, for about 10k miles and absolutely hated them. I have my reasons for hating them besides appearance. Cool you like them, not my money. But you're quite peeved over it and trying hard to justify your purchase.

I hate the mud so I'm not too worried about it. My biggest concern was the sidewalk because there are a lot of rocks in CO. Duratracs have a bad rap for their sidewalks so I strayed away from them.

Yeah. I always feel that it doesn't matter what other people think. THat's what I tell my GF.

"Matt that bumper is really ugly"
    "I don't give a shit, it's mine"
