@MuricaTaco Nick have fun at LB Grand Prix today and over the weekend!!! The last time I went was just before they merged with IMSA. The IMSA "category", if you will, SHOULD be pretty interesting? It's a re-config of the ALMS category of when it was sold\merged to the IMSA. It SHOULD be pretty interesting still... I'm guessing??? They usually have " delayed" tapings of the LB race so I will check that out and sorta "re-learn" the series\categories, I guess??? :D:p:cheers: Wish I could join you because it is a BLAST bro!!!:woot::yay: Take pictures if you can!? The best seating is on the grand stand opposite pit row, BUT closest to the big screen on the corner. It is the grand stand seating that you will be facing that, very sharp, pretty much 90* turn!!! GREAT photo shooting at that spot bro!!! You MUST get to this grand stands early because they fill quickly and try to get the "top" seating area as well!!! Have fun!!!

    Thanks for reporting that again!
Spent last night helping out four guys who flipped their jeep at holy Jim and rolled 8 times
Luckily they were all ok (as far as we could tell, they were still in shock) but it was pretty bad.

There are always jeeps flipping there. And trucks. Not sure why, inexperience is probably the biggest factor. Those four guys last night were probably my age, 23 or so. But it wasn't even their jeep, it belonged to one of the boy's parents, and it also wasn't even that kid driving it. His friend was.

Why do I hear how easy and fun holy jim is but then hear stories and see pics of people breaking their rigs, rolling, getting stuck

Those are the people that fail the bunny slope. However I gripped the edge of my seat at Holy Jim at night when I came around a turn and it was a bit more off camber than I thought haha.

I know exactly what you're talking about up jeep hill. Had the same experience a month ago. The same part that Madison and Nick were like wtff. I went too far towards the back one time and cut right, I seriously thought I was going to tip and roll. I just kept the truck fully locked to the right though.

So what I gather is if you take Holy Jim nice and easy there wont (or shouldnt be) any issues. But if you haul ass everywhere then it is a matter of time till Jim catches you "slippin".

Idc how much shit people talk on holy Jim or think its some padded playground. Shit can happen anywhere at anytime. It's better to have respect for any terrain instead of being naive about itttttt. Boom:infantry:

I'd be more concerned why anybody would want to go to Holy Jims in the first place. That place is the worst. :stirthepot:

I'm just giving the HJ regs a hard time.

After my one and only experience there, I was like "wait, am I missing something?"

And now the inside of my cab will forever have a rattle.

Same, I don't think I'll go back again once the whole fire road is paved.
I like HJ a lot because I'm down the street from it, it's super convenient. But that hike is already kind of whatever, because of the trickle of 'falls'. Completely paved? Not sure I'm down for that. I hate paved hikes.
