When your truck gets 100k on it, start checking bolts. I have been tightening stuff all over the thing and it needs a going over while doing other projects. It is even listed on the maint sched somewhere, not sure of what mileage. My suggestion, don't wait until 140k................end public service announcement

    Thank you :)

Yeah it was the best option to stay low profile and be able to lift as high as I needed.

If I had to guess, your tailgates have been resprayed at some point before this. I've debadged every car I've owned without a problem but once removed a door molding from a previously resprayed panel and took a section of clear with it.

Honest questions for everyone that has a lot more experience than myself.

    Horn relocation. Few questions.

    1) How difficult is it?
    2) Aside from an aesthetics point of view if you have a Satoshi grill (which I don't), what are the pros and cons of relocating it? I just have a stock grill, for now, so curious about it.

Disclaimer: please keep in mind I am not mechanically inclined, AT ALL. Complete newb.

    Yes.
So you put a Ford V8 in your Tacoma. That's pretty epic. ;)

It's usually done when you decide to change grills, or change up headlights, or add lights behind the grill. That's when I would do it. Relocating the horns ls not that difficult. Do you have the write up?

Yup, I saw the write up. Did some searching after I posted and saw it. Seems fairly straight forward. Was just wondering people's opinions on it and try and get some pros and cons before I did it. Going to hopefully install my mirror from Bob's Mirrors tomorrow, and to install the temp sensor seems like I'll have to take the grill off, so figured I'd kill two birds with one stone and possibly relocate the horn.

With that said if your going to keep a stock grill, I personally think the horn relocate is unnecessary. I would paint the condenser black though.

If you are never going to change the grill I dont see the point, doesn't look to hard to accomplish.
