what size camper do you pull with your Tacoma???

    Good to know you're getting something that heavy up and over the high passes. I have had this little Starcraft AR-One for just a couple months. Highest pass yet is Poncha, which is pretty mild and only 9K elevation. But my truck does great with it. Just as you say, 4th gear. Keeping it 65 and under.

    My '58 gets towed anywhere and everywhere. The 33s have affected my towing, but not too bad. Planning a regear to help with that.

    This camper is pretty light, 4460LB dry, around 5100LB loaded, Firestone airbags in the rear, good WD hitch, stay in 4th and it tow's beautifully, absolutely no issues. I tow this camper everywhere too, Maine, NH, Vermont, NY, PA, it tows fine...
