I'm looking forward to it, I think it will be a great time. I am a little concerned that so many city people are coming, and I really hope they are prepared and this isn't their first rodeo. We'll see what happens... I guess if nothing goes wrong it's not much of an adventure.

I'd love to. Just have to have the time off. Haha I wanna hit up the Diamond Lake to Sisters run sometime. I think it's Memorial weekend.

Ok. Guess I'll just have to drink with everyone else. I've got peach moonshine.

I might be heading up a day early, but not sure yet. I'll probably stay with a friend in Portland Thursday. then head out on Friday.

Anyone planning way out? I am going to be in the area late September, possibly through the rest of the year.

I'm still going to be there Friday afternoon. Who wants to leave seattle that day still?

You can count me out for the TSF trip, I bought tickets to the NW Overland rally and didn't realize they were so close together. 2 long weekends for truck stuff in the same month wouldn't go over very well at home.

I'd have to leave at 4am Saturday to make it there on time, then leave by 5pm Sunday. Not worth it to me, I'll make it down another weekend when I'm not so cramped on time.

I did some cleaning of the first post (damn, hard to get all that information across in a clean manner... I think I'm also pushing the limits of how this laptop handles the editor, it was chugging as I wrapped up the last edits).

    Anyway, some stuff of note:
    1. I added a notice section based on the OSF rules. One of the things that may have been overlooked is that there is standard mandatory equipment for TSF: you need a shovel, and water or extinguisher
    2. I had a roommate move out of the house, so I can now support up to three transportation-only vehicles that want to park at my place and carpool in.
    3. I did some scouting in early March for campsites. Many sites were closed for winter still, but I did do some research still. I'd like to ask for everyone's help in giving opinions or additional ideas
      1. Brown's is booked up
      2. Dispersed near Lyda: I don't know the rules on dispersed camping. @Benson X , if you have time, please discuss with our OSF contact.
        1. I have another dispersed location I can scout if dispersed is an option...
      3. Cedar Creek: This may fill up with motorcyclists. I may be able to get a spot if I arrive early enough on Thursday night/Friday morning.
      4. Gales isn't going to work for us
      5. Jones Creek is crap
      6. Drift Creek isn't a real camp
      7. Lyda Camp is more of a staging area, and would be full of people unloading horses and motorcycles
      8. Diamond Mill is crap

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Awesome report, Mike! The spur you found looks like a great candidate - I will contact Jahmaal to see if this is an option.
