Sounds like your new low mileage 4x DC is going to be a totally righteous ride! You did good Will, and being out from under that lease you had going on your former ride has to be a great feeling!

You'll love everything about your '04, and as time goes by you'll find it does all you ask of it with style and class! Post some photos as soon as you can so the rest of us can enjoy your great new 1st Gen Tacoma along with you!!

dealership surprised me today............i am now officially a first gen dude:D!!! got my truck back today.........all shined up and purty:D!!! they did all the service stuff that needed done, and new brakes and tires!!! cant wait to wear these tires out though.........uniroyal laredo cross country:rolleyes:......may be decent for the street, but off roading them will result in bad grip in mud and all. oh well......cant really complain bout new tires though. gonna take it back thursday for the guys in the shop to wetsand and fix a small rusty scrape on the rear fender.....not too bad, but gonna have it fixed nonetheless. and i gotta check the transmission mounts,as i can feel the shifter moving a bit when i hit a bump or take off/ brake. also....gotta get used to the power difference between the new 4.0 versus this 3.4, but thats just here and there. no biggie!!! another plus.....the wife is extremely happy and loves driving it, and she actually said she cant wait for us to start modding it......lift and all!!!;) it was too late/dark for pics when i got it back, but definitely tomorrow......ya'll will have some pics!!!

no need...if its just some minor movement its fine...i actually just learned the other day that something in the mounting is rubber (i read it on here so you can prob find it) and that they all move and its nothing to worry about...unless of course its moving so much that it smacks the dash and crap like that

getting some pics as soon as the wife gets back home with the camera.

the guys at the dealership that did the certifying and all plus servicing and all are some lazy ass bastards. i climbed under the truck........no grease at all in any of the zerks on the driveshafts. plus.....they didnt even change te air filter. glad i got ahold of the truck now......gonna take some tlc, but it'll be in the shape it needs to be in when im done with it. today.....im gonna change the fuel filter, change oil over to synthetic, run some techron thru the tank, clean the throttle body out, and if time permits befroe we head out to the lake, im gonna go ahead and change out the front and rear diffs to mobil1 75w90. also, thinking about changing the transfer case out to 75w90 also.......any tips on changing that out???
