    Anyone know of a place where I can take my computer to get fixed, having an issue with the cooling fan, shit sounds like its either going to explode or fly away lol. Gonna try and fix it if its a cheap fix before I go out and buy a new one.

    If it's the one on the cpu on a desktop computer, it's a 120mm fan. Go to Frys Electronics and get one. Easy to take off and replace.

    Its an HP Envy Rover 20, so everything is self contained within the monitor. There's not screws or anything I can see holding the backpiece onHP-Envy-Rove-20-001.jpg .

    Ok, this fan may be tricky
    I would start with a cleaning with some air. Id be willing to bet it has sucked up alot of hair and dust in it. Im sure that silver cover is removable but it will be a pain. Hopefully its not the proc fan but an exhaust fan.

    I think I have those plastic tools in my bag at work also.

    Some things should be left to the professionals. I was trying to program a second code on the alarm for realtors showing the house but apparently ended up hitting the silent alarm code for being held at gunpoint. Phx PD showed up out of the blue. Since it was silent I didn't even know I had triggered it. Doh!
