I got mine from toytec. Their website only says "885" and doesn't mention an X.

Yeah, can't say I like the 3rd body style on the reg cab. I do like the tailgate and thats about it. I want to do a 2012 conversion with the 3rd Gen gate.

Just picked up my 2013 with 21000 miles on it in March. I have some f5 wheels on order and trying to figure out what lift components to go with. Also have my fogs to install. image.jpg

Hey guys I am purchasing Icon coil overs soon and i am trying to figure out the difference between their normal coil overs and their extended travel ones. Can someone explain to me what the difference is? They are both for mid travel setups and both are 0-3.5 inches of lift:confused:

Get the extended travel. That's all you need to know.

Can you please elaborate? I cant spend $2000 blindly:D I going to run them with a Total Chaos uniball upper control arm which i heard you have to have to have extended coilovers. Do they ride worse? My truck only leaves the pavement to take pictures btw

Lame.. I wouldn't bother lifting if you dont wheel it.. Extended will ride the same, they just have a little more down travel since the uniball ucas will allow for more droop..

Getting non extended travels is kind of like going shopping and getting a buy one get one free and not getting the free item. You're gonna pay the same either way so might as well get the ext. Travels lol.

You can make the non ext. Travels into ext. Travels just by taking out a spacer in them.

There's literally no downside to getting extended travels but the downside to getting non ext. Is that you have less droop lol.

I might go offroad more now that I don't have a spacer lift:D I've gone before but I love my truck to much to scratch it or anything.

The way I look at it as like not wheeling a truck, is kinda like not fucking your girlfriend... Scratches will buff out..
