re: that CR500, those /are/ insane little 2-smokers. seem fairly gutless til you hit around 6000 rpm, then OMGWTFHANGONITSTURNINGPLAID!

my bro had a series of 2-smoker RD350 street bikes back in the 70s. seeing as how he was a scrawny 5'11' 115 lber, those things when all stripped and cafe'd out, made him the fastest thing in the county. his only rule was, he wouldn't go over 100, so the big bore 4-strokers would FINALLY pass him long after he'd dusted them in the 0-100 runup, and omg it handled like a gokart on rails.

Just got back from working Desert Hearts and Lucidity music festivals. Sadly, the Taco wasn't with me and I have no pics of drinking beers but it was awesome and I thought of this thread!
