I wish the Sharks didn't play so late tomorrow. They need a 4pm start time

 

I'm no Blues or Hawks fan but spending 10 minutes in a playoff game to call a goal back because a guy's skate was 1/2" off the ice when the puck crossed the blueline is lame O and kills the game flow

I hate the offsides challenge rule. it ruins the flow of the game. The human side of the officiating is part of the game. I wish they would eliminate the challenge for offsides.

Also, the call was correct. the blues player did lift his skate before the puck crossed the line. But I still hate the call. I would rather keep the momentum and flow of the game.

 

Yes, there becomes too much meddling.

 

I can concede that it was probably the correct call but when you start parsing things down to a couple of seconds in a game that is this fast paced you lose a lot of the entertainment value. Much like the neighborhood play (which is also ridiculous to change) in baseball I would have left the goal be as he was close enough in my opinion to let it stand.
