    Yupz getting some work done on the truck today

    1) getting new stereo. mine shuts off by itself sometimes. dealer said might be on back order for a while though till the new one comes in

    2) TSB for the shifting; yeah u know the shifting sucks at low speeds

    3) TSB for the rear suspension...aauurriightt!!!!

    09 Taco access cab / trd offroad / 4x4 / auto / v-6 / stock / magnetic gray / 13,xxx /


    ne wayz all under warranty. took it to the dealer at 8:45 this morning. walked up to the service rep, he looked at my order and says "you've been doing your research on the internet huh??" i couldn't help it i had to bust out laughing, thinking to myself damn i wanna smack this guy LOL!! it was a classic moment. none the less the rep was totally cool, i dint have to give him a story or go through any kind of bull, he said come back at the end of the day and well have it ready for you...aauurriiightt

    will try and post up some before and after pics and get you some scoops on how it feels

    hid head lights, hid fog lights, always on fog lights, bed lights
    is there a tsb for 2010 for the shifting?
    I can feel it downshift (feels like engine brake and truck slows down instead of coasting along further) as soon as I take my foot off the gas pedal at low speed (<30mph).

    Yes there is... Just got it done today. That and a squeaky seat TSB.

    yah the service guy was cool. He looked my age 26-27ish. kinda seemed like he's run into this alot already.

    dont know if the tsb covers 010's yet

    Yeah., not sure on the TSB number and its not call squeaky seat. Something with one of the clips under the seat. But it was fixed under the TSB they replaced something under the seat. I thought it was my fault because of my 260lbs 6'3" frame. But no.

    TSB 0288-08 for the squeaky seat. Here it is from mechanic at toyota:

    R/R LH FRONT SEAT TRACK PINS TSB ~|~CUSTOMER STATES CHECK DRIVER SIDE FRONT SEAT MAKES NOISE WHEN SITTING ON IT ~|~F ~|~2000 CHECK DRIVER SIDE FRONT SEAT SQEAKS-DUPLICATED AND FOUND SERVICE BULLETIN 0288-08 REMOVED PINS AND ALL OK NOW
