So.. after wheeling this weekend I've been thinking about changing some things up on the truck.

-Ditching the compressor setup for a 20 lb. CO2 tank. Paul's CO2 was (obviously) much faster than my compressor and thinking ahead for future plans would free up some real estate under the hood for SAS shock towers and dual battery options. Also eliminating potential electrical problems. I can get CO2 across the street from where I work so its convenient to get it filled.
-Ditching the snorkel for more under hood real estate for SAS. Also going to get the truck repainted by my coworker since all the roof clear coat is pretty much gone and I can get the holes filled and a new fender painted as well.
-Later on ditching the retrofit in favor of stock BHLM. Love the retro but I'm planning on having this truck retired from DD duty next year and get rid of the electrical gremlins I've had with the retro.
-New bumpers front and rear. Got some ideas that I'm going to try out for both and moving the tire to a bed mounted carrier possibly with some hood strut type shocks. (Saw something on a RZR that gave me the idea)

Also in need of a winch after this weekend. Going to get a Gen2 Smittybilt 12k with cable. Also a few other recovery/wheeling items are going to be ordered soon.

If everything goes as planned I hope to start building a set of axles by the end of the year. Want to get in more wheeling trips this year and really enjoy wheeling the truck more than I've been able to up until recently.
