When I drop the axle with Jack with frame on jack stands, the leaf center bolt doesn't drop all the way through the leaf. Thoughts? Axle is as low as it will go. Do shocks need to be removed?

unsure how you have leaf springs off the axle if the shocks are still attached, considering where they mount, if you didn't take off the ubolts you couldn't have the axle down.

Are you having vibrations as ICON's do not call for shims??? What degree shims are you adding?

what other mods did you do when you noticed vibes, assuming that is what your chasing with the shims

1.5" won't change the angle enough to need shims though.

also, that axle looks like it can come down another foot, whats the issue?

Icon aal 1.5", ome shocks front and back with ome 885.

Drive shaft angles front to back are: 4.7, 5.2, 3.0 from transfer case. So 4.7, .5, 3.0 differences. Using 3 degree shims

Never answered the question of are you having vibrations at all? If so start with the 12.00 OME Carrier Bearing drop kit. And that is what I added was 3 degree, was absolutely terrible. But each truck is different.

Yes take the shocks off, or you can take one side off at a time.
