Looking at building another upper for my AR, I have a upper with parts kit installed and an 18" heavy barrel in 223 Wylde, but what hand guard should I go with? Looking for a free float tube, preferably light because the Hbar is pretty heavy, and I want to be able to attach a bipod.
Probably gonna top it off with a nikon 2.5-10 scope.

Got a faux pelican case for a couple of my pistols to make a range box. Carved out some foam and everything fits great!

Cannon safes are awesome. That's what we have, and my uncle is on his second one. His house burnt almost 2 years ago, he called them up, they sent out a rep to open the burnt safe, then delivered him a brand new one to his door step. He said they were awesome to deal with.

    Safe to fire or not?
These were in a box of loose ammo that a buddy gave me, not familiar with the round but it's 556.

As long as they arent cracked I would fire them. Small dings and dents arent an issue and will be gone after you fire them. Just look closely to ensure theres no cracks and they are just dents. I reload a lot of "seconds" brass which has dings and dents and have never had an issue

Talked to some reloads on another forum and I'm not gonna shoot the one because of the dent on the shoulder, and I'll inspect the other to see if there's any abnormalities in the little dent.

I'm not sure, these were in a box that a buddy gave me because he doesn't have any guns in 556/223.

Cut down the barrel or replace the barrel.
You could cut it down with a grinder, band saw, or sawzall and finish it with a dremel and re-blue the end you cut.
