My truck just arrived! Let the mods begin! So stoked!!

 

Nice truck. Not many blue sport access cabs around.

 

Man I miss my truck it's almost been5 weeks since I've driven it. Oh yeah miss my wife and kid too

 

I was referring to the tacoma 16" trd offroad wheels not the pros. But that is a good looking truck.

After seeing the nice water shots, I decided to take advantage when it rained tonight.

 

Yeah my TRD arrived! Let the mods begin!

 

I just washed it, and had to take a couple pictures. Alot of mods so far, atleast the most I've done to a new truck. Added Hids, led fogs, color matched chrome bumper corners, aluminum running boards, katskins, leer topper and a bedrug mat. Once the trd pros come out I'm getting the trd pro grill and wheels.

 

Is there anyone here rolling on 20's? I also have a BBPdcsb. Want to stay at factory height. This truck aint gonna see no dirt-know what I mean? You guys have some sweet looking trucks and endless amounts of knowledge. Beer time! Shit,almost forgot-sold my 2nd vehicle to fund my new wheels and tires-have factory bobos-16 inch right now.

 

You can probably find some pics on favebook or Instagram. Not many like 20's or bigger on here

 

Thanks Aussie! After way too many hours and days pondering what wheels to get I finally decided on the black NVs. Your pic just put me back to square one. DAMN those look good on our trucks.

Regardless, those look great with BBP. What brand are they and are those tires 285/75/16?

There are some 20's on here but not sure which thread. Do a 3rd gen forum search. Looks real good on them too. I wish the Limited 20's had some width. They are just tall and skinny with barely a lip. 245/55-20 or 265/50-20 is stock height at 30.5" but no real width gain. Look at tire sizes and selection. There are many more available and reasonably priced 17" or 18" tires. I wouldn't want to get down to only having 2 or 3 good brand 20" tires to select from. If you shred a tire on a road trip you want something most people have in stock. From what I have seen here between 31" and 32" seems to be best max diameter choices for fits, stock suspension clearances and selection. I am looking at 17 x 8 or 18 x 8 with +8 offsets and 265 or 275 tires to stay somewhat close the outer sheet metal that would stick out an inch more than the stock 265/65-17's. I just personally want more than a 50% profile on my truck tires.
