I went the exact same route with my seat backs, except no guerilla glue, we'll see how that turns out. I just did lots of measuring for my cuts. Turned out great, they fit perfectly.

Might not want to put exhaust on a v6 then. Unfortunate, but if you're used to the way 8s sound this will never sound good.

 

A turbocharger or two would make it sound pretty good.

 

Won't need exhaust when you have that sweet whine!

 

Raised the driver's seat today! I'm used to the higher seating position in my previous vehicles (LR and Jeep) so I went with a 2" spacer. I'm 5'10" with the sunroof option and my hair slightly skims the headliner. I noticed less support in the knee/thigh area, but just ever so slightly - there wasn't much support in the stock height to begin with.

Interesting. I didn't think about doing this. I might do the same, maybe just an inch. I'm 5'8. What hardware did you use? Just something from Lowes or Home Depot?

Yep, bolts and washers from Home Depot (M10 x 1.25 x 75mm). Get shorter length bolts if you're using 1" spacers.
I got the spacers at Ace Hardware.

I wish there was a way to lower the seat, or move the steering wheel closer to me. I'm 6'4" and can't seem to find that perfect driving position. I feel like I have to slouch down with my arms extended right now.

 

I used just a standard leather holster and clip. I used this set-up in my previous vehicle for 2 years with no issues. Very accessible. Carries a small $65 Bryco Jennings .380. I know, not a great gun or caliber but I fire and clean it religiously and if it gets stolen, I can save up some aluminum cans and buy another. Plus I always carry my P938 on my hip.

 

Please forgive my brief rant, but as a LEO for over 30 years the number one excuse I get when stopping someone for a m/v violation is. "I am not from around here". Am I missing something? Does a red light mean go like a bat out of hell in some other part of this country?! a red octagonal sign with the word STOP mean proceed with reckless abandon and see how quickly the pedestrians can clear the crosswalks?! A red and white sign that says DO NOT ENTER means drive directly into two oncoming lanes of high speed traffic?! A black and white regulatory sign that says SPEED LIMIT 30MPH, does that mean go 50 MPH in some other part of the state or this country???!!!
