It kind of is a pain in the ass if you have rust actually. That's why I cut mine off.

It's surprisingly a huge pain in the ass. They have the bolts coming in thru the top. They are a bitch to line up.

I pulled mine right after I installed the lift. Never felt the need to put it back on. Rides much better and the cornering is not an issue.
Do your King's first, then pull the sway bar.

I'd say if u have the kings on ull be fine. My old truck had some old Donahoe coilovers and was fine without the sway bar. And I like to corner pretty hard.

Mine came off in like 5 minutes. 4 bolts and two nuts. I even pulled one in a dirt parking before a wheeling trip once. That one took like 5 minutes too.

Oh, and I've been running without a swaybar for several years now and haven't looked back.

Quick to take off. But getting it back on can be annoying.

I was in the middle of doing mine today only to find out the set I rented from advanced auto was missing the piece I needed... Couldn't get the damn thing out no matter what. So the old one is still on till autozone has one in. People wonder why I never go to advanced...

Alright thanks everyone. Guess it'll be off soon. Doesn't matter if I get an alignment with it in or off?

I have 883's and nitro chargers, there's definitely some body roll but I can still drive it like I stole it.

I do, stupid bar is not missed. But I have stiff 620lb coils on a 4cyl so I can still turn really hard at speed without much body roll.

Also to the alignment question, it makes no difference. You have to align after you get your Kings in and at the height you like though.

Neither of my rigs have the sway bar I couldn't get the Kings on with the sway bar on anyways.

You just have to change your driving style slightly on road. So worth it.

Was it one of the cups? The ones in the auto zone kit were such a pain to use because even if you used the correct size cup the big thing on the bottom would hit the spindle and put the whole thing at an awkward angle. But yea i prefer auto zone over advance

105 or 115 for the bottom bolt IIRC and 27 for the top hat bolts IIRC.
