    Anyone on here running 17x9 wheels?
    I'm thinking of Toytec Boss lift with 17X9 +12offset wheels and 285/70-17 tires.
    If you happen to run this set up, do you have any rub issues?

    I am interested in this^^^ also. I am afraid with the leaf kit it will have too much rake on the 3rd Gen? I like the rear a little higher than the front, but I don't want it to be 1 1/4"!

    I am starting to think keeping the 5100s at 0 or bottom grove and adding the taller toytec coils ( 1 1/2" on 3rd gens) with 1/4" top plate and a aal with a 1/2" shim on the drivers side may be the way to go?
    My measurements are
    Fp 20 5/8"
    Fp 20 3/4"
    Rd 21 1/4"
    Rp 21 7/8"
    Any thoughts? Honestly my rear leafs are flat too. I only have 300 miles on it!

    I run 17x9 fuel hostage with a -12 offset with 295/70/17 and had to cut the lower part of the fender plastic, do the Cab Mount Chop, and now have zero rubbing issues with the tires fully stuffed. I am on a 2nd gen though, you will have to remove the mud flaps, do the CMC, and probably cut some of the plastic lower part of the fender but none of those things are a big issue. 285's should fit just fine with minimal to no rubbing problems with the toytec BOSS kit. I say go for it and take care of trimming as needed!!

    plenty of photos of the CMC, and where i cut the fender plastic in my build thread. The trimming locations would be very similar on the 3rd gen

    How has your noise level been? Mine comes and goes but haven't been able to stop it yet. Going to start spraying everything with TriFlow today to try to figure out where the creaks are coming from.

    I feel it's coming from the leaf spring but I'm also using triflow. Monday I'm gonna lube every part of the shocks and leaf springs see if it goes away

    No gonna lie I love how well the icon level 6 lift kits rides. I have all of my shocks set at 5 on firmness

    Same. Much better than stock and looks great. I sprayed triflow onto the heim joints yesterday. Seems like that helped a lot. I think that was the culprit. Still occasionally get some creaks but nothing like before. Fingers crossed that was the fix.

    Compared to the stock shocks on the TRD off road how do they ride on the road? I'm deciding between the Icon Level 6 and the Icon billet UCA's with Kings all around and the deaver leafs.

    Much better ride in my opinion. Stiffer but not jarring. Got rid of a lot of the body roll on turns and nose dive on breaking. On washboard dirt roads they are killer. My only complaint was the noise but that seems to have been solved with a shot of Triflow on the heim joints at the LCA connection.

    I have the Icon Stage 2 setup. I only lifted about 1.5 inches. Maybe a touch more so didn't need UCA's. For now this is all I need. Eventually I may swap the UCA's if I decide to lift any more. I have a double cab long bed with a shell though so my lift is probably a little less than what others may get because of my added weight.
