It's a small alpine sub that I have strategically zip tied under the glove box.

 

Oh god. I want mine screwed to the rear wall behind the back seat, I think it's too big though.

 

Good luck. I got a small one just for that reason but I'm pretty sure it doesn't really do much.

 

Wiring isn't that bad.

 

Haha, I'm kinda the same way, although Rick guilted me into helping him start his HID mod. I got lucky though when it turned out that one of the halos broke loose and had to be sent back. Spruce helped him complete the project.

Wiring sucks rancid, toxic-waste-filled pond water...full stop. Sure there's worse things, but wiring is about as bad as it gets and still be something I'll do for myself. That's why I didn't sign up for the Avionics department when I worked aircraft maintenance in spite of having the required licenses. I just absolutely loath wiring.

If you like doing though, that's cool. If everyone was the same the world would be a boring place.

 

It's actually kind of ridiculous. I'm going to be running a bundle of 16 wires through the firewall for the switches, another 6 for the switch/dash light illumination, then the wires involved with 4 relays (4 wires to the fuse block, 4 to ground, 5 to accessories, not counting the 4 coming from the switches), plus 2 wires and a large fuse for the fuse block power supply, and one ground for the fuse block ground bus. A total of 38 wires to run a light bar, two pod lights, and a CB, although I am admittedly doing a lot of the leg work by pre-wiring for future accessories. Still that's a crap ton of wires.

She seems nice, but a bit plastic. Low maintenance for sure. I would definitely not ask for a hand-job.

 

Oh yeah!! Good news guys, the truck isn't totaled and should be fixed within 3 weeks. And seeing as how the front end was destroyed, the entire front end is going to be brand spankin' new. So she's gonna look sharp.

So...I woke up late today. Fully back on night shift schedule again. Almost didn't make it to the parts store for more wire. I got the big bundle made up and routed though. Had to route it twice because I wasn't happy with where it was the first time. It was running across a sharp metal edge and I concluded that was just asking for trouble. Much happier with it now and I think it looks pretty good (even if that was sort of the easier part).

 

How many switches you plan on running?

 

Who was the member on here that works at Wesley chapel Toyota? He is a salesman there?
