theres a huge difference in quality and construction, dampening control, longevity and life span of components but my opinion does not matter since it sounds like you have already made up your mind. My question was why after your research are you considering one over the other on your 40k new truck?

You call this factory specs? All they did adjusted your tie rods and camber. FYI factory spec for caster is 1.8

It all depends on what your intended use is. I'm not knocking the BOSS setup, for some its a fine option but if you're already looking at an Icon kit that gives me a pretty solid idea of what you want to use the truck for and a larger bodied completely rebuildable and tunable coilover is probably going to be a better option. After your TW discount too they are really close in price to each other.

My suspension progression went like this:

    1. 3" Spacer
    2. Toytec Ultimate
    3. Icon Stage 3
    4. All Pro +2 Long Travel
    5. All Pro +2 Long Travel and Defined SUA
    6. Camburg Long Travel and Defined SUA
    7. Camburg Long Travel and Custom 3 Link.

The Jump from Toytec to Icon was a substantial difference in handling and performance for minimal increase in cost. At the end of the day a 5100 is still a 5100 even when you throw some fancy coils and top mounts at it.

absolutely! obviously working into a kit like the stage 3 with a Uniball Upper Control Arm is going to be a better performing option but they can always be added down the line and your coilovers converted to extended travel. Shoot me a PM and I will get you pricing! We have this complete kit in stock.

Does anyone running the BOSS Remote Resi rear shocks have a photo of how you mounted them? I currently have them hose clamped to the frame wrapping all way around it but I'd like something a little more secure. My icon's I ran on my 4Runner came with brackets, but these did not. I might have to fab something up
