Anyone have any guesses how much suspension travel the new Trd pro will have. I'm hoping 11+ inches.

"TRD-tuned front springs with a 1-inch lift, and a progressive-rate offroad leaf spring for the TRD-tuned rear suspension" From the TRD Pro description. I'm 99% sure that is the exact same as the TRD OR. I honestly don't thin the TRD Pro will have any more travel than the 2016 OR.

Yes I'm dead serious. Anything less than 11" and I'm getting an sr5 and putting a total chaos kit on it.
The new Raptor is rumored to be 13.5" and 9" would be way to weak for Baja.

have you seen how much smaller this truck is than a Raptor? The LCAs limit the front travel and the Raptor has super long LCAs

i would put a 2" TC kit if you wanted to compete with a raptor, or if you wanted something with great performance and not the huge price tag. get a SR and go 2.5" front and back icon, king, or fox

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Toyota enjoys getting the same price point* of a Raptor without actually putting any of the performance on the truck, just fancy graphics and some special paint.

*Obviously the Tacoma is cheaper, but, it comes at a high premium compared to the Offroad/SR5.

I know the Lca's appear narrower but possibly the frame rails and mounting points are narrower too so in theory you could have 11" of travel with equal Lca's but a narrower space between where they mount providing for a narrower vehicle over all. I'm pretty sure I'm destined for an aftermarket kit but I owned a 2012 Raptor and having a factory stock vehicle with millions of dollars of factory engineering behind it is nice. I'd rather buy a Trd pro than a Raptor but 11" is kind of minimum travel for the terrain and speed I enjoy. Best guess by peeps in the know for an extended cab raptor not a 4 door is 50-53k.
45k for the Tacoma pro seems a bit steep for 9" but the Raptor was just a big wide pain in the butt for daily driving especially since I live in san clemente and a lot of the streets are narrow and parking can be tough in the summer. I'm just trying to figure it out, I'd rather have a stock vehicle but I'd like 11" of travel. I wished
Toyota would bake that cake with the frosting too!

Then why dont you just do what I did with my gen1 tacoma and put a full TC kit on the front. I think strapped at 12-13'' travel and 17'' in the rear.

The common reason is: no factory warranty.

    ...too much shit to list.
You're not going to get 11" of travel from the factory. The only thing different is the coilovers. Still has the exact same balljoint LCA and UCAs. See for yourself:
