I imagine those stick out quite a bit...
Some of what you mention sounds like handling, rather than ride quality.
You probably lost castor and increased your scrub radius/friction.
    Lost castor affects SAI.
Increased scrub will affect your toe and SAI.
    SAI is important to handling.

    What are your alignment numbers?

They only stick out about 1/2 inchainz from the fenders. I'm not sure what my alignment is, I am going in tomorrow to check it out.

And yes on the highway this morning I figure handling rather than ride quality, it is still smooth....but the steering wheel feels easily manipulated and easily compromised by sizeable bumps and such

    Squirmy, wondering feeling?
Takes constant steering input to go straight?

On bumpy bad roads. But it does not necessarily drift left or right on its own though

May need a little more caster dialed in to the alignment. Did the dealer re-align front end when they put the lift on?

Also, big tires can "hunt" ruts in pavement, pulling steering off course. Especially noticeable with lower air pressure.

That's actually a LOT of pressure.

Find out if they did an alignment.....You want close to 3.0 caster if possible.

You might want to see what the ride is like with about 35 psi in those tires, maybe even lower....

I ride with 34psi in front and 32psi in the rear. You have too much air. You will notice difference immediately after loosing some of that. But the spacer lift definitely adds to the bumpiness

    46 psi in a 285/70/17 KO2?
    That's way too much.
    34f/32r is a good recommendation.
34 psi is actually your adjusted Tire Placard psi.
I wouldn't be surprised if a chalk test put you as low as 32f/29r.

It's how far you pushed them out past your old contact patches centerline.

I agree, however you get what you pay for. A set of 5100's with OME coils and add a leaf, should be about 2k or so, reasonable

That is an insane price to pay for that, 250 for the billies, 150 for the coils and 150 for a progressive aal if they wanted it installed it would probably be 500 on top of that maybe a little more

Nah, you don't understand what he said. He likes to pay more because that makes it better.
