just did mine today, took advantage of a warm garage, to soak myself in the melting snow falling off my truck and install them... well well, just don't try busting loose the u-bolts while laying on a crawler LOL... or have 3' long Ubolts with nylocks... really slows the process.

Yup, love the way it sits now... Thanks for your help!

You guys did miss out watching ebbs trying to break loose the u bolt nuts on a crawler. Legs up on his sliders to get leverage and still rolling around. :beavisd:

Great day at winter park and just as fun getting there, the KO2s did great in the snow.

Not a complete waste of a snowy day. I think I fixed the wind noise on my '16. A 4 mile drive in the 30mph winds seems to confirm it. Time will tell I guess.

    2nd gen owners..

My truck is shifting stranger in the past month or two and wondering if it's just another common "that's how it's supposed to feel like a 200k GM truck" situation.

When going uphill and it downshifts, it'll hold that gear for forever and a year. Usually as it levels off and you lift off the accelerator a little it'll shift up. But to get it to shift up i have to take my foot all the way off or wait for 3-5 seconds longer than usual.

It's getting close to 20k service time so @lotsoftoys will be graced by her presence sooner or later.

Another thing, anyone else had their radiator fluid reservoir cap not seal properly? Mine has residue around it and my truck always smells of leaking coolant. (this was already deemed "normal operation" by Stevenson paper pushers from mile 20 or so.

Speaking of the "200k GM truck feeling, " Jace do you know if the '15s have been included in any TSB for the loose steering column yet?

On the road again! Still in this storm though. Hopefully it ends soon. At least it is rain and not snow.

At this pace you'll get there next week.
At least with the Chevy it was an easy fix. Two 15mm Bolts, a grease gun, and about 10 min of your time. I did it twice on my 1500 I just sold. When I bought it and when I sold it. Wonder what the fix could be for the Tacoma.
