    this is probably not too good to do, but couldn't I achieve 6" of lift, with a 3" spacer, and Billies set at 2.5"? well 5.5" close enough.

    you can technically do it...but it aint safe, and you'll wear out major parts of your truck.......i would highly advise against it.

    X2. Dont!!!:mad: Your better off spending the money on a real 6" suspension kit then what you will be spending to replace the parts on your truck down the road!!!

    i am planning on getting the bilsteins with my spacer but ill probably just set them a 0". What would you be screwing up if you do set them to 2.5"?

    according to tacoman the whole front suspension... I have the bilsteins now and have them set at 0. But I want 6" of lift, and that's the cheapest way for me...

    on 4x2 and 4x4 u'd be replacing ball joints ever other week and a 4x4 u can say good bye to ur cv's....just for starters

    the cheapest way u'll get a 6" lift and it still be good is to get 4" spindles and a set of CO's

    That's even worse.... I might just get a 3" body lift...

    I'm not going to do anything, yet! But I want to go 6" to fit bigger tires, and I like the look of the 6 inch lifted Tacomas.

    thats just as bad. u may be able to use the 5100's in conjunction w/ spindles, but thats another $1k unless u can find some used. dont stack spacers and dont BL. u'll get tire clearance, but u'll expose more frame and gap the rear bumper and make it look like shit as well. ur not gonna gain any ground clearance w/ the BL except what u gain from the larger tires...not worth it
