Yeah, I would have run down there to make sure everyone was Ok, but I'd have a wheel wrench and a few tools in my hand... hehe

    Exactly. I have a 4 door car. I don't need a 4 door truck with a 2ft bed

Originally I wanted an access cab OR, but since they only offered manual with a double cab that's what I got. Makes no sense why they don't offer that combo, because they do in Canada. You'd figure it wouldn't be an issue to also offer it in the States. Whatever... after seeing all the problems with the auto I'm real glad I stuck to getting a manual. No shifting problems here lol.

    It was @over60!!

    Haha

All jokes aside that is sad, but who would leave their new truck out there? I'd have someone stay with it or figure something out to get it home but definitely not leave it.

Not that I condone stealing but the truck is going to be a total loss and who would just leave it there unless the owner is planning on reporting it stolen.

Good call, air bags deploying usually mean almost half of the value of the truck in repairs.

They spoke with the owner and BP was trying to recover it last night with a tow truck for over 4 hours and finally left.

Two Tacomas were trying to take off the Bed Cover. They may have stolen it but CHP was called and was going after them
