    Sorry people, I know you HATE my long yapping posts, and I promise to keep this short :rofl::rofl::rofl:... I was also thinking of what Madison said, it doesn't make sense to throw cabbage on a vehicle and then later on down the line, GET a 4WD???!!! I would just save the 1kish, sell your truck for what it is worth, then put that money as a nice downpayment on a 4x4, if that is what you really want? Or, put a slightly different way, if you were to pay for that 1kish rear locking diff, it isn't really going to help you "sell" your vehicle. You WILL lose money, I CAN guarantee you on that one! If you really think about it, technically, you would be spending 1kish more on that 4x4! Just my 2cents Nick.

    Nick, just please promise me that you keep your CB and "my" antenna, LOL!!! Other than that, use the shi- out of that antenna bro, that is why I let you use the thing indef. Just don't sell the thing!!! If you're done with it, just simply give it back... hopefully, NOT a bent antenna and/or frayed wiring/cabling, LOL!!!:fingerscrossed:

    Appreciate the input Randy, orginally I was going to sell the truck and buy a 4x4 but the reason why not I'm considering a conversion is due to the fact that the parentals do no want me selling the truck until after I graduate from college so no 4x4 for four years or do conversion :goingcrazy:. I'm not doing anything for sure, doing research currently but I think I would go for 4x4 before locker because like you & everyone else has said the locker is going to be around 4k so I'd prefer to spend the money to make it 4x4 which would be a lot more useful:D.
    In regards to the antenna don't worry I would never sell it hahaha, I am probably going to get a permenant mount for a taller cb antenna both for longer range & because I've already had the magmount fall off :rofl::notsure:, though It didn't hit the ground, just slid next to the window where I had the wire running from; when I do that I'll be giving the magmount back. Very appreciative of your generosity still Randy; look who's making a long yapping post now hahahaha

    The main reason why I have a magmount is for "emergency" purposes, if you will. Other than that, that is the reason I hardmounted ALL of my antenna(s). I even have a "pig tail" setup to where I can quickly connect/disconnect antenna's/radio's if I want. I'll show you that setup and explain the best I can about how I use it. For now, I just use it to connect to my OLD non-narrowband 800MHz analog RadioShack scanner. I've had that thing for YEARS!!! I now have a newer, base/mobile 800MHz Uniden Bearcat
    $91 BC355N 300-Channel Base/Mobile Scanner, Close Call Capture, Pre-programmed Search “Action” Bands to Hear Non-Digital Police, Ambulance, Fire, Amateur Radio, Public Utilities, Weather & more
    BC355N analog scanner that has narrowband capability as well as other features that my old RadioShack scanner does not. For ALL of my radio setups, each have a particular purpose/use!
