I haven't used them my self. I buddy had them tune his Duramax and a coworker had them do the clutch and head gasket on his 6.7 cummins.

but ill say that a 4eod with a valve body has held up to 490 hp consistently.

That's crazy, and odd most of the 7.3's are beasts for mileage. But at least now you can build the piss out of it.

have a friend with the same truck 300k
i lost a rocker arm which then slammed a valve into a piston, and with no valve movement hydrolocked 1 cylinder. bottom end was toast.
good time for a forged bottom end and case.

My brother has a 99 7.3 with 320K on it. Rides like a fucking tank but just keeps on running.

Personally I'll stick with my cummins.

Im a cummins fan, but the new ford is a beast, the interior is lacking to Chevy and dodge though. still to be seen on the longevity, but I went and test drove the big 3 new ones. The ford is like a rocket ship. But that's under no load. All my buddies buying new are buying the Chevy. I'd still rock the cummins any day.

I used my buddies 7.3 ford to go hunting last year. It pulled my toy hauler like a champ.

I would buy a 2012 cummins before any current model year truck. Last Diesel that didn't have to be filled with Cow piss to keep running. And can be deleted in 2-3 hours by yourself.

I want to build a 6.7 block with 5.9 commonrail head and some compounds just for fun with the money I don't have, or will ever have to put into my tow pig.
