Humidityis the real threat. It's what gets people. Not the heat itself. I love the change of seasons here I'm MD though. A lil taste of everytbing

Silly question men. And rather than start a new thread i figured i'd ask here first. Chrome tip on TRD exhaust(or at least I think it's chrome). Anyone got any tricks to cleaning it? Make it shine again. I have a Harley so I have ever chrome cleaner and aluminum cleaner known to man. But nothing seems to work without a ton of effort. The Aluminum cleaner(that turns black as you scrub) seems to do the best job. But I have to do it about 5 times to get decent results. And it still doesn't come out as good as I think it should. Wondering if there are any tricks out there i don't know about.

try never dull its wool saturated with a cleaner the stuff works on everything it even cleaned brake dut off that had been baked on chrome wheels for years. not exspensive give it a try may havev to do it a couple times

 

Thinking of getting these for the truck, anyone have better recommendation for equal price?

I use a 3m 98 scotch brite pad and soft scrub.

 

Holy cow Walmart pays that much these days?? Never heard of that. What do you do for them?

Squirt the soft scrub on the pad and wrap it around the tip and stroke it good It works every time and the truck will have a happy ending.

 

my dad made it, purchased the material and printed it at his office. I have had him make a few for TW members, not cheap though, $150...

Got the headers retorked after 100 mile break in & got a free monster sticker to add to the tool box!

 

I orderfill at the distribution center. Its highly labour intensive and keeps me in shape and i work in a cooler at 32 degrees and sometimes a freezer at neg 30 for 10 hours a day. But i try to stay away from the freezer lol. Im also capped out on pay. Last month i transfered to the non perishable side so i lost my freezer pay. But yea its a great job for those with no college degree that want to make 35 to 60k a year. If you have a cdl and dont mind being on the road for a while, the truck drivers make fricken bank most gross about 2k to 5k per 2 weeks. Some dc's outsource through swift to save money.
