eh... I have a prerunner and got buried on a beach that was legal to drive on; Daytona beach. One patch of soft sand and down to the springs in the rear as I was being an ass and not wanting to admit A: have a 4x4 looking truck yet only 2 wheel drive and B: temper tantrum while only having 2 wheel drive didn't help. For the record the 4x4 Taco that yoked me out was also about stuck in the same area. Patience would help us all. I could have lowered air pressure and borrowed a shovel without all the stares and drama.

Wow, the haters are always out in force on this website.

Perhaps you haven't heard, but I can get fall down drunk as a skunk and drive my truck around my property all day long if I choose. You and the pigs can't do a damn thing about it!

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

OK but FYI, when the shit goes down ya better be ready

If you have many assets to protect, such as a house, savings or investments, consider buying an umbrella policy. Umbrella coverage, which provides liability coverage above and beyond your car and home insurance, typically starts at $1 million. This coverage is especially helpful when you're sued by more than one person

I'd say something about the foolish being out in force but I bet that would actually get the mods' attention.

Baloney. You can't arrest for DUI on private property. The law references "public highways".

Directly from my real lawyer, not a message board armchair lawyer.

That's similar to saying you can fire a gun on your own property because it's "private". In many cases you could be charged. Bottom line is if you're creating a dangerous situation you'll get arrested. If you're drunk and not creating a dangerous situation, then of course nothing will happen (assuming you're not stopped for something else), but that's the same on the "public highways" as well.

The letter of the law depends on the state.

So much butthurt by everybody defending such mundane and simple comments to the OP, which he agrees with.

    Settle down, ladies. Nobody cares.

Still not concerned despite all of the "expert analysis" by those who have not passed the bar.

I'll continue to reference the advice of an actual expert.
