Oregon and Washington BS thread

I run ome shocks with the 886 - if you have ever driven a stock jeep wrangler it feels like that, a bit squishy but definitely stiffer than stock. I came from eibachs on 5100s and those were stiff as hell for some reason.

 

I've got a newish OME setup, and am typically near the Beaverton Round area or Murray/Cornell... you're welcome to come give mine a spin

I really dont understand impatient people at lights, a few seconds is not going to affect your commute that much. A few angry seconds is not worth getting upset for. I use to be on the other end though....

 

I apparently pissed some guy on I-205 off a couple of weekends ago... I got off at Clackamas Town Center and for a good mile before he was leaning out the window, flipping me off and yelling something incoherent at me. I just smiled and waved (and pissed him off more), and just before the actual off-ramp, I rolled my window down and yelled out to him something about "talk to me when you're not riding bitch"... which of course pissed him off even more, but I didn't care... I was off the freeway along my merry way, knowing that some guy probably just pissed his wife off with his attitude and that he's not getting laid that night (or maybe she's dumb enough to think that he was standing up for her... in which case more power to him)

 

Well; the decision has been made - finally moving to Kodiak. I've gotten tired of existing there and having a house here...

Going to make an Expo trip out of it, I've got a couple weeks of travel time.

When I bought my truck, it came with a Leer 100R (I think)... sliding windows all around and two locks (one on each corner of the back window). If I were going out to by one brand new, I think that I would absolutely go with the 180 version (extra height) and if I've got the money for it, definitely the sliding windoors for the the sides and the sliding, removable front. Not cheap options, I'm sure, but there's been countless times where I wish I could get into the truck from the sides, or have access to the rear window for cleaning.

Trying to figure out what to do with this light bar..

 

Wire it up to blind tailgaters? Aim it straight up to signal aliens? Ooh mount it along a frame rail for the ultimate rock light/skid/slider?

 

The thing is so big it would just look stupid on the truck.. It's got a remote fob that controls the power relay. All kinds of crazy strobe patterns and whatnot..

Today's project is pricing out electric brakes.

 

Mount it on your bedrack to use as reverse/work lights. Setting up camp at night sucks.

 

Agreed. Use it as a camping/utility light.

 

Sell it to fund another project. Seems way overkill for a camp light.
