Image your rig that you have worked and spent so much time and money to make it exactly how you want it were to roll off a cliff and you luckily survived, but your truck did not. You would be heart broken if you love your truck as much as I love mine, and when you come back to try and recover it the wheels and meaty tires that you bought for it were gone. Every thing, lights, antenna, that light bar that you spent 3 hours installing was gone, your CB radio that you use to talk to yor buddys on the trail all gone because some guy thought "I don't see whats wrong with taking it, it's totaled anyways"

If I pull up with a tow truck to find some dickhead that feels justified jacking the wheels and tires, or anything else for that matter, off my brand new truck that I just rolled I am beating 7 shades of shit out of their thieving ass.

OK I take back what I said about stealing.

But regardless. At the point it rolls over, and file it to your insurance it's not your property. It now belongs to the insurance company.

Hell, you can light the thing on fire and the truck won't be valued any less.

Its still going to be recycled.

    Theft is theft.

Most likely the Tacoma wasn't paid off and therefore a bank owns it. Hopefully the insurance will pay the loan and still leave some equity for the owner. Assuming of course an insurance company is even going to cover this. I am not sure how that works. Anyone ever been involved in an accident like this? My quote would be something like, "I swerved to avoid a mountain lion!!!"

    :)

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

OP, damage isn't bad, still hurts though especially on a new truck.
I was out on my dualsport at Otay Truck Trail and saw this yesterday. Truck has been there for 2 days.
