NE area wheeling trip plans

Hey guys, I'm noticing a weird sound coming from my tires after yesterday's run. It sounds like it would if it were flat, but I checked the pressure with a gauge and it was the same as it was before. Any ideas? Also, I'm going to be cleaning mud off my truck for a good week haha

 

Eh could need an alignment, hard to tell. Does it drive any different? Might also need a rotation

 

Surprisingly, no difference in driving. And the KO2's haven't been on for more than 3,000 miles but I plan on getting them rotated at my next oil change. Who knows maybe the noise will go away

 

Check for a rock in the tire tread? That usually sounds like clicking

Rocks could be in your brakes too. I've never had a problem but others have

 

Rob, you weren't there but I actually had that happen on the trail, right at the power lines. A tiny ass rock got stuck in the rotor, made one hell of a squeaking sound. But the guys helped get it out thankfully

 

I used to get small rock in my old ko's and it annoyed the hell out of me. Wouldn't be surprised if that's what it is.

 

That sucks. Glad they got them out though

 

Rock stuck in the treads maybe?

 

Beat me to it. That's my thought too. I've got the ko2s as well and they do hold onto rocks.

 

general consensus is rocks in the tread. Ill check them out when i get a chance. thanks guys

 

Look into getting a 1/2" breaker bar/ 21mm sticker to keep in your truck in case you need to change a tire, it would not be fun using the stock lug wrench and that spline drive socket together.

For y'all that got Some trail damage, I just inspected my truck cause I'm doing an oil change and I always go over it while it's in the air. Right front wheel has rock rash, dented factory skid, dented and scraped drive shaft, and some scrapes on the rear diff. Time to invest in more armor

 

wonder how that happened...hehe

washed the car real good today, just had some scratches on the rear

 

Gotta pay to play! Haha is to be expected doing that kind of stuff
