This is the most awesome comment in this thread by far. Logical, well thought out and it clearly spells out how the posted had collected his manhood-size data. I have not stopped laughing since I read it earlier today.

Don't be that jealous OP. His Tundra is mostly a waste because it has a short bed.

OP,as nice as your Dads tundra is, your Taco is still better looking proportion wise. Granted your Dads is one of the nicer Tundras I've seen in a while. Looks real sharp.

If only Toyota could get their shit together and make the Tundra look proportionally as nice at the Taco and I would trade mine in.

honestly, no one buys a tacoma because it's a better truck than a tundra, you buy a tacoma because you want a smaller truck, they are just as expensive, and with rebates often more expensive - but they have legendary reliability and the ability to go anywhere and do anything. If you're looking at a full size truck, frankly there are better options than a tundra, and the tundra is due for a MAJOR upgrade.

I'm 6'3" 260 lbs, and I prefer my tacoma to the big trucks I've owned, including some REALLY big trucks, F-450, F250, Ram 3500 dualie, all 4x4, all loaded, all diesel, I got the tacoma and have put more miles on it and owned it longer than all of those trucks - I do sometimes miss the size of those big trucks, but very rarely, the times I enjoy having a tacoma on 37s far outweigh the times I enjoyed towing 20k lbs.

Yea, I second that. My Tacoma isn't as comfortable to drive in as my Silverado was. But mechanically, it is a far superior vehicle. And it's better to drive around town and park, etc. And in the snow and mud..wow, the Tacoma can handle itself much better.

I always wondered how big guys like yourself fit into the Taco. Seems it would be tight for ya, but guess not.

Obviously I own a Tacoma because I feel this way, but IMO they are the best looking/proportionate truck on the road. Not too big, not too small, just right. Aggressive looking without being over the top. The Tundra, although nice, is just a tad too big for my taste.

A little of this and a little of that.

I agree with this. To me, there's just something about the Tundras that make them look "out of whack" IMO. I really hope that Toyota will do a re-design that will make them more appealing...at least to me.

That said, you and your Dad are set up nicely with trucks!
    Enjoy!

If the tundra crew cab had a longer bed i would buy one right now. Until then my sights are set on a Cummins.

    Nice trucks by the way!

The cab space inside the Tundra is great. If I had a big enough garage I would pick up a TRD Pro.

    Your Dad has good taste.

Both are nice trucks. Though I think your Tacoma has the edge personally.

Your dad needs to ditch the chrome though. LOL The dark paint color, dark wheels, and slicked up tires look odd next to all that shiny chrome.
